Lotto Jackpot is won.      

 

Handicap Secretary Noel Grier is the lucky winner of the lotto jackpot that stood at €20,000.00.  Like we always say "If your not in you can't win". 

 

The jackpot will recommence at €10,000.00, increasing by €150 every week. Get your tickets now from the club and you could be a winner.

                                   Practice on the course

                                                   Notice.

In an effort to deal with the growing problem of practice on the course the members decided at the AGM on 27th November 2009 to introduce the following sanctions with immediate effect.

1st Offence = Verbal warning

2nd Offence = Written warning

3rd Offence = 1 Month suspension from the club.

Members who wish to report practice on the course can do so by sending a written account of the incident to the Hon Secretary with details of the date, time and place on the course where the practice took place. It must be signed by 2 persons whose names shall remain confidential. Members are encouraged to use the practice areas provided.

The new team league started on Monday 30th Nov and due to the weather the  league has been shortened into the following weeks. Best 6 scores to count.

                                  Subscriptions for 2010.

 

At the EGM on 3rd April 2009 the members voted to amend the subscription year to 1st October to 30th September. This will bring the subscription year into line with our accounting year and more importantly give the club a cash injection at a time of the year when there is very little income. This will reduce our dependance on overdraft facilities and its associated costs. So on a once off basis only, members subscription will be due 3 months earlier than usual. Consequently, membership for 2010 is now due. As encouragement, members who pay in full on or before 30th November will recieve 4 green fees worth €100 for use at their discretion. Rates will not be increased and are the same as last year. It is hoped that members will embrace this change as it is a vital tool in helping to improve our finances.
